Traditional long christening gown in fine lace, similar to that traditionally used for wedding veils. The dress is cotton-lined for baby's comfort. The lace bodice with long sleeves can also be made with other sleeve types (please contact us if you would like to modify anything on the dress). The style is unisex and can be used for the christening of little girls or boys.
Dress length 85 cm. Optionally, a Peter Pan collar can be added to the bodice or a gathered lace collar (+15 euros).
The lace color is natural white (light off-white).
Handmade to order in the Fil de Légende workshop in Neuilly-sur-Seine.
During high season, it is best to reserve the making of custom-made dresses well in advance. Lead times in spring and summer can be up to 8 weeks. As your child's size may change during the two or three months preceding the ceremony, you can place an order well in advance by indicating the clothing size that should fit your child on the day of the ceremony. Then, one month before the christening, you can provide the child's measurements by phone or email to finalize the size.
In this case, it is necessary to specify the ceremony date and the fact that the final size will be chosen approximately 1 month before the ceremony in the dedicated box when placing your order. Otherwise, the standard size selected when you place your order will be retained.
The following measurements are required if you wish to provide them:
- Child's age
- Height in cm from the top of the head to the soles of the feet as given by the pediatrician at the last visit, if recent
- Chest circumference: measure without clothing, directly on the skin with a tape measure. Measure all around the chest, passing under the arms. Do not add any extra ease cm
- Belly circumference: measure without clothing, directly on the skin with a tape measure. Measure all around the belly slightly above the navel, as the bodice does not extend to the navel.
